I bought the compass as a birthday gift for my 42 year old son. He had achieved the Eagle rank in BSA, and is back in scouting with his daughter. He hopes to continue in scouting. Where do I begin! I originally purchased a compass and wallet to give to my son before he went into the military. I purchased the items long before he was to leave, however these items never showed and my son shipped out without them. It was a precious moment ruined for me as a father. The follow up process was terrible, email responses from Wavao were generic and impersonal and never did I get a real answer on the product location. I did finally receive the items and they were what they presented them to be. But, if you firm in ordering from this company allow plenty of time for shipping so this doesn't happen to you.
Do your homework and read the reviews, there are other companies that sell the same items. I think you are smart enough that when you read a glorified review, that something isn't right. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them 1/10. Best, M

It's cheaply made and doesn't come with any kind of a necklace or bracelet for it to be affixed to. The engraving is nice so I believe my son was touched but it's not something he is going to showcase or probably even use ... it's just too flimsy and cheap.
